Hi Folks,

i have an Issue that a Project was created as Jira Service Management around 2 Years ago but we later discovered that now the Project Type Jira Software would be more suitable.

The thing is the current Project is a Major Project in our Firm and the Project is actively being used and the data in it should be kept.

Any Idea where I should start?

Hello @Slifer ,

Sadly, this cannot be possible since these are two different products even though they are from the same Jira family of products.

BR,

Nikola

A long time ago, you could do it with a flag, but only in some directions - JWM to JSM, but JSM could not be converted to anything else.

If you need the issues from the JSM project to work in JSW, your only option is to create a new JSW and move the issues into it!
