Has anyone been successful color coding tickets with specific statuses? For example - Waiting for Support could be "red", In Progress could be "green", Waiting for Customer could be "orange", etc. All of our statuses have a light blue highlight and the text is dark blue as shown below and it would be "nice" if we could color code them so they stand out better and are "differentiated" in some way.

Ootb this is not possible.
It might the marketplace has offerings to change the colouring.
But as @Kristján Geir Mathiesen mentioned, this can't be done in Jira, ootb.

On a board, on the Issue itself, ...
I think each status gets a color according to the "Status Category" it is assigned to and that this cannot be changed.

Thanks for the screenshot, @Dawn DeBolt Yes, those are the "Status Category" colors Atlassian assigns to statuses. There are 3 "Status Categories":
In the Cloud, these colors are not customizeable.
