Condition based on Checkbox Value

Negjat Jusaj January 18, 2023

Hello,

I want to create a condition for a transition based on a value in a checkbox.
For this I use as Options Id the value of the field (11219).
Unfortunately this does not work. Does anyone have a idea?

Hi Negjat,

Is that the actual value stored in the field as an option? And what didn't work? Can you do a quick translation of what the rule does in English?

Hello John,

thank you for your feedback. I have a workflow with 2 permit options (Permit1 and Permit2).
Now I want to configure the transition depending on the summary. I have created the following conditions:

Transition Permit 1
Field: Summary
Condition: =
Value: = Permit 1
Comparsion = String

Transition Permit 2
Field: Summary
Condition: =
Value: = Permit 2
Comparsion = String

However, the transition is not carried out. Do I have to specify the value in a certain format ("",**)?

Will your Summary be EXACTLY that and no more? If not, you will need to do Contains. I suspect it is not recognizing the value in the Summary field.

yes it is exactly the value e.g. Permit 1
How can I create contains in a transition?

Can you share the full automation rule that you have so far?
