Custom field ID changes across projects

Hello Team...I have two projects and one is a group project and the other is company project. Group projects can only use 60 fields per project, so we decided to use a company project to combine some portals (HR and IT). We have created some custom fields in both projects and a few are the same (license ID). If you create a customer field in a company project it appears that it will overwrite the customer field ID in a group project. Because we have automations that pull the customer field ID and used in azure fuctions it is important the custom Field ID remains the same. Unfortunately, the company project was created after the group project. I have tried context rules but still fails. Any ideas? thank you in advance for your help

That cannot happen, the custom field IDs have to differ across the team-managed projects, each field is a separate entity and needs a unique id.

You will need to code your Azure functions to understand each field in each team-managed project.
