We are currently using Jira Service Management and would like to customize custom field options based on the Organizations/customer rather than by project. Our current setup involves creating a separate project for each client, but we are exploring the possibility of managing all clients within a single project, using the Organizations field to differentiate them.
Since all Jira configurations remain the same across clients, we need the ability to dynamically adjust field options based on the selected Organization. Could you confirm if this is possible in Jira? If not, do you have any recommendations or workarounds to achieve this functionality?
Looking forward to your guidance.
Hey @Fati There is no option available directly from JSM org -> project fields. You may have to leverage Assets to store relevant information for each organisation and then use automations to feed that information to the Jira fields.
hello @Vinubabu _Vinu_ ,
thank you for your response ,so the solution is to use assets? can you please share a useful link
What about Jira forms or an app we can add?

Hello @Fatima AALLA
You can review asset documentation from here.
Now, all your org related information will be stored in assets and you can fetch this to your issues in project through automations.
So based on the organisation the reported issue is, automation will fetch associated details of this org from assets and feed it to your issues.
The following documentation does a similar activity based on reporter field but we can repurpose it for the requirement. You can find the article here
