Customer user cannot change states

I have a problem in the workflow, I leave permissions in the transition so that I can make the change, the custommer rol however I perform tests and from the portal it does not  allow me to make changes

Are you saying you are not adding any conditions in the workflow ?

Have you enabled the transition to be shown on the customer portal as described in here https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/show-a-workflow-transition-in-the-portal/

If yes then customer should be able to see the next status button on ticket view in portal and change the status.
