Good morning!
I need help creating automation so that when a child item of an epic is placed in progress, then the epic is placed in progress.

Good afternoon, how are you?
That way it worked!
I tried to do something similar so that when all the children are closed, the father will also be closed. But I was unsuccessful.
Can you help me?

Hello @Sarah Cristina Bizewski
When you access the Automation Rules page you will see a tab labeled Templates.
Select that tab to see several rule templates.
The templates are organized in groups. One group is named Manage Completed Tasks.
In that group are two templates that might suit your needs:
When all child issues are completed → then close parent
When all sub-tasks are done → move parent to done
The one you should choose depends on whether the child issues are sub-tasks or not.
You will have to adjust the template to select the Status values that apply to your issues.
