I need a piechart to show the count of ticket per Request type.
but it doesn't show the request types and I can't click the result. I have 9 request type.
and this is my set up for the piechart.
There's a few previous posts regarding similar - it seems quite a simple request but unfortunately there's not a simple answer - have a look through these;

Unfortunately the Jira gadgets do not seem to work well with the Request Type field, which is a field specific to JSM projects.
My advice is to search on Atlassian Marketplace for an app that provides a chart that supports this special field.
If you are open to use an app, our Great Gadgets app offers a Pivot Table & Pivot Chart gadget that allows you to generated tables & charts of various types by Request Type field.
You can find more about this gadget in this article.

Hi Mar Angelo,
I just dealt with this yesterday!! What we ended up doing was to create a custom single pick list field with the same values as the Request Types. Then we added the new custom field as a hidden field on the Request Type Form and selected the value for each Request Type (you repeat this for each Request Type form.
Then you can create your Pie Chart against the project and use the Custom field as your Statistic Type.
