When I create an issue via email, a customer profile is created for the CCed participants. My goal is to eliminate these automatically created participants in Jira via an automation.
I read that there are no options in Jira to manage this behavior, so I opted to create an automation. I tried creating it, but it's not working. Can you help me?
Welcome to the community.
Whenever you ask for help with an Automation Rule it will help us to help you if you provide:
1. what type of project is this (e.g., company-managed, team-managed, etc.),
2. images that show your complete rule.
3. images showing the details of any relevant actions/conditions/branches.
4. images showing the Audit Log details for the rule execution.
5. Explain where the issue is.
These questions are not for not willing to help, but to have community members understand on how automation works.
Or see this post on how to achieve this, this is not a straight forward solution.
@Marc - Devoteam Oh Thanks. The link you provided helped me.
I have another problem. I have two users who are the same person. We migrated our email accounts, so we have a different domain than the previous one. I have two accounts with the same name, and if I try to delete the profile we no longer use, it automatically deactivates the other account as well. I assign the permissions that all agents have, but it does less than the others. For example, I'm an agent and I can change the status of tickets, but he doesn't allow it with the same permissions.
