Does the Automation plug-in for Jira allow editing of existing automation rules?

We have created extensive automation rules and are considering the Automation plug-in.  I am wondering if I can edit the automation rules we have already created in Jira (cloud), outside of the plug-in.

Hi Paul,

I am sorry, but your question is not very clear. Could you elaborate or give an exameple?

In any case, Jira Automation rules are one thing and the add-on is another. As far as I have use it, they are independent and unless you have configured the same thing in both of them they should not mess with each other.

If I have created a complex automation in Jira Automation, then begin using the Jira add-on, can I edit the automation rule I created with Jira Automation with the Jira add-on?  I hope that makes more sense.
