Good morning everyone, I ask for your help with this new development:
When I am trying to make modifications in my flow already published, such as putting more states, delete them, change the names or edit their connections it tells me that I can not edit it and I must do it in a copy, now bine, I make the copy.
Correct. As your workflow is actively being used by a bunch of issues, you cannot make certain updates to it.
To fix this:
Jira will now guide you through a process that ensures no data get lost. One of these steps is defining the new statuses for the ones you removed.
Once you're done, have a look at your project's boards. It may be possible that you need to update the mapping from columns to your new statuses. Once that's done, you're likely all set (unless you have some saved filters that were using the old statuses as well 😉)
Hope this helps!
I think you didn't understand my problem, it basically doesn't let me make the modifications I want to a copy of the flow either.

That is very well possible 😀 - Your last sentence did end quite suddenly and I tried to fill in the actual question. I am afraid I still don't, to be honest. What is it exactly that you can't modify to the copy?
Do describe the steps you try to take in detail.

Forgive me if I wasn't clear, I'll explain the step by step, initially we want to connect one state to another that we already have in the flow, at this time the state has no connection to another state, when doing it in the public flow it tells us that we must create a copy to edit, we create the copy and when trying to make the connections of that state in the copy flow it tells us the same thing, that we need to create a copy flow to edit it.
