Getting exception while selecting project setting

Hi,

I am getting a exception when I select project setting. The exception is regarding the field Assignment group(test) I am unable to remove the field from request form "fix an account problem".

I don't need the above mentioned field in that request form. but I am unable to remove as the field is created from Jira end.

Any solution to fix the above requirement ??

Hi @Mohammed Haneefa Farook ,

1. Go to your project settings --> Request type. 
2. Click "fix an account problem" request type. In the screen opened, you will see "Assignment group(test)" and hidden mark in front of it. 
3. Click on the field name and scroll down little. You get "Remove" option to remove field the from the request type.
   Once removed, the exception will go off.

I am not getting the remove option as the remove button is disabled which is provided below.

Is there any other way to fix this exception ??

Hi @Mohammed Haneefa Farook ,

Seems the field in required field in screen context.
Go to project settings --> Screen. 
See if the field is marked required. 

Now remove the field from create screen and come back to request type and remove here as well.

Hi,

I have removed the field from the page both Create/Edit, but still I am unable to get the remove button disabled.

Anything else need to checked ??

Hi @Mohammed Haneefa Farook 

Go to Project settings --> Fields. Copy the Field configuration scheme name
Now go to admin settings --> Issues --> Field configuration schemes

Goto each Field Configuration and see if this particular field is marked Required. If marked, click Optional against it.
