I would like our desktop support staff to have the ability to add and remove customers (employees) as they leave our company. Right now they contact our Jira Admin (me) to add and remove employees as they join and leave our company. I do not want to make our desktop support staff full Jira admins, but I can't find another way to give them access.
I've tried created a group in user management, but I don't see an option in there for just customer management
I opened a ticket with Jira and they said Agents cannot revoke access or delete customers.
"About agents having the ability to remove the customers, I am afraid to say that it won't be implemented at this time. To revoke access or delete customers/users in Jira you must be a Site Administrator"

Hi @Joe ,
I just tested the functionality and if the user an Agent or part of the Service Desk Team
They will have the ability to add / remove users.
.atlassian.net/jira/servicedesk/projects/<projectkey>/customers
.atlassian.net/plugins/servlet/project-config/<projectkey>/people

Thank you for the help!
This URL allows our Service Desk Team to add Customers, but not set them to inactive or delete:
https://kregtool.atlassian.net/projects/SD/customers
This URL does not work for us, it just put the web page into a continuous refresh loop:
https://kregtool.atlassian.net/projects/SD/people
Half way there! :-)

I found this link that has an option to remove customers, but our agents don't have access to this page either:
https://kregtool.atlassian.net/plugins/servlet/project-config/SD/people
