How can i make the sprint field as mandatory but still can put tickets in backlog?

Hello, I want to have the sprint field as mandatory in my project, but when I do it, it is not possible to create and leave tickets in the backlog (bc for the sprint field it is necessary to assign it to a sprint). So I would like to see if there is a solution for this problem.

No there is not. I guess you could create a dummy sprint to put them into, but that seems like it defeats the point of the backlog. Why do you want the sprint field to be required?

Yes, I thought that. This is more for good practice, for the type of project I manage. I still have a company managed project, but when I go to the fields, the sprint one I can't make it mandatory, the same as the epic link one. Any way?

The only way to do this is to add a validator to the create transition which requires the field "Sprint" is filled out.
