We are looking to use the same support portal for a number of different client and need a way to restrict their view to only their project - I have read that this can be done but i am struggling to find a way.
Hey @Tracy Gilmour,
after you made sure to change the Customer permissions -> "Service project access" to "Customers added by agents and admins" (from your initial setting "anyone on the web" I guess) you will be able to manage access to the project in the Project setting's "People" overview. Removing any customer listed there from the "Service Desk Customer" role will remove them from the project. That should fix your issue! 😁 🤘🏼. Please let me know if you need additional support.
Best, Max
Hi @Tracy Gilmour and welcome to the community!
For each Project, under Settings >> Customer Permissions Make sure Service Project Access is set to Customers added by agents and admins
This ensures that only customers that have been explicitly added to the project will have access.

How are you managing your customers? Are they being added manually or through some type of integration? I would look at the customers associated with each project and make sure that only those who should be on the project are showing.

Can you confirm that you don't have any groups assigned to the Service Desk Customer role on each project?

Apologies, I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to ask. Can you please be more specific about why you're concerned with permission scheme?

I am wondering if the settings within the permission scheme is causing our service desk clients to see more than we want them to.
I have change the permissions scheme on the project i want to see within the portal to the default software permissions and this has stopped me seeing my project within the service desk portal however I am still seeing the others with the previously assigned permissions scheme, obviously i want to reverse this so am wondering if anyone has a screen shot of how the permissions scheme should be set up to allow the client to only see their projects within the support portal.

Please see my comment from 6 posts ago. Your issue remains on the Customer Permissions setting. Your screen shot shows that you have not updated the setting.
