It would help to incorporate AD data into Jira ITSM so agents can automatically view the AD attributes of users.
For example Last login, password expired, account locked, password changes etc
This requires the usage of using assets in JSM and import the AD details via an app (if you have entra-id in your azure AD) or an app from the marketplace to simply visualise this information.
Like; jsm-assets-microsoft-entra-id-azure-ad-integration or azure-ad-attributes-sync-for-jira
It is my understanding, it is not possible out of the box. First of all, you will need to subscribe to Atlassian Access to use your own IDP source (i.e. AD) to control users accounts - https://www.atlassian.com/software/access
Afterward, you may need to search for third party add-ons for your env at Atlassian Marketplace for the functionality to expose AD related attributes against your site.
Hope this helps

Hi @Alex Saunders
As Marc and Joseph already mentioned in their answers above, it's not possible out of the box.
To ensure user provisioning you can use Atlassian Access but to display additional data on request view a 3rd party plugin will be needed.
I'm behind the team responsible for Azure AD Attributes Sync for Jira app. It lets you incorporate Azure AD data into Jira ITSM for real-time visibility of multiple user attributes (contact data, manager info, assigned devices etc.) and display them in a dedicated panel or copy them to custom fields (which can be later used in custom automation).
If that sounds like a solution you a looking for, feel free to test the app or let us know via Calendly and we will gladly organize a free demo session for you!
Best regards,
