I have lots of old cases to import with comments that we want to be internal. Is it possible to specify this on importing the CSV file using the External system import?

When it comes to importing tickets using CSV, currently, the import wizard doesn’t identify if a comment is public or internal.
There are feature requests suggesting this improvement:

This is also not possible at the moment. When making a bulk update, it’s only possible to add new comments, but not edit existing ones.

It’s only possible to change the visibility of the comment by editing them one by one.
A method to update existing tickets is via CSV, but it doesn’t include the visibility of comments.
For now, we must wait for the suggestions to be implemented:
