How do you remove a project from a global automation?

I created an automation in test and when it was ready to move to prod I thought that making it a global automation would make sense. Unfortunately it means that since the automation is in use in two different projects, the runs are getting counted against our allowance.

I tried disabling the automation in test, but it seems that disabling a global automation anywhere, disables it everywhere.

So, how can I disassociate the test project from the global automation or do I just have to import it as a project-specific automation and disable the globals?

Hi,

You can specify which projects a global rule runs against via the global administration (link top right, next to the 'Create Rule' button).

Selecting your global rule in the global administration list will present you with a 'Scope' field, like so

You can use the drop down to select criteria for which projects to execute the rule on. Hope that helps.

Thanks
