Hi Atlassian Support,
I’m currently using Jira Cloud and would like to find out how much storage space (specifically attachment space) my site has consumed so far.
I’ve been uploading multiple files to tickets (images, binaries, etc.) and want to understand the total storage usage, either:
At a site-level, or
Per project or issue, if available.
Could you please guide me on:
How to view or retrieve the total storage space used (via the UI or REST API)?
Whether there's a limit or quota for attachment storage on my current Jira plan?
If available, how I can monitor ongoing usage to manage storage proactively?
Let me know if you need any additional information from my side.
Thanks,
Srinivas.
A free plan has a limit of 2GB.
Storage is per product, so Jira, JSM or Confluence.
Storage usage can be viewed via Atlassian Administration, and select Products, from the side bar choose your site under "Sites and products"
Then you will have the option "Storage" available in the sidebar.
You will then be able to see how much storage is used per product.
If you go over the limit, you will be notified and you need to start removing attachments from the system
