How to control which services are available in a JSM project

We are running multiple ITSM projects for various customer groups. We also defined a number of Services against which we can create Incidents and Change Request.

Now, for certain reasons we don't want all customers the see all available services on their portal when reporting a problem. I.e. users on portal 1 should only see a subset of the services we have defined in JSM , while users on portal 2 should see a different set of services that relates to their particular use case.

I couldn't figure out how to achieve this. In all JSM projects, all services are visible in the drop-down when reporting an issue.

Missing feature, or am I missing something?

Edit: typos and grammar

As far as I understand, the services are global objects available to all JSM projects.

Yeah I was suspecting that too. Any way to filter that via custom field on the end user portal? Or a case for a feature request?
