Hi.

Is it possible to create a button that will appear on the JSD issue view and that this button will only appear in a specific status of the issue and the function of this button will be to clear a specific label value?

I know it's possible to edit the label by clicking on the label field, however, what I'm asking for is a dedicated button that will clear a specific label out of few labels present in that field.

Example: Label = to-do

Button name: clear 'to-do'

Condition = appear only when ticket in status 'in progress'

button function: clear only the 'to-do' label.

Hope I was clear.

Thanks.

I would probably try the following which requires an addon (no OOTB solution).

  • add a transition to my statuses called “clear label”. This transition would be a simple reentrant to the same status.
  • use an automation addon or scripting addon. I have Automation for Jira so would choose that. Trigger on the reentrant transition and clear label.

now, if you don’t already have an addon you might search for one that better meets your needs.

Thanks, Jack. I do use Automation for Jira add-on.
