Hi everyone,
we have multiple sprints running in a project.
Now we want to set up an automation rule like 'if x then use active sprint y from Project A". But we can't differ between the multiple sprints in the project.
How can I set a marker for each sprint so we can select them separately in the rule configuration?
Your help would be awesome.
Cheers
Yvonne
Hi @Yvonne
You can use the sprint Id smart value described here: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/smart-values-general/
Here is how you get the sprint id: https://www.techagilist.com/agile/jira/sprint-id-for-an-active-or-closed-sprint/amp/

Hi @Fabian Lim ,
thanks so much for reaching out. This is indeed an idea but if I understood correctly it's only semi-automatic. Someone would have to manually set the Sprint ID, right? But this one changes after each sprint.
Is there another possibility for full automation?

You will have to ask in the feature requests for this one. It would make sense to be able to have a smart values for boards.
Or you can use scrpting via SIL or scriptrunner
