Hi Community,
In a cloud Service Desk new generation project the reporter field show all users available in jira, independent of the project.
i want to restric this user list to display only agents and customers assigned in the project .
Is it possible or this standard field always display all available users in Jira
The reporter is limited to people who can create issues in the project in the background, plus customers if it's a JSD project.
I suspect your permission scheme is open, allowing everyone create permission.
Thanks Nic,
do you know how to change this propery or where can i found related information?
Regards
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Go to the project admin section for that project, and check what the permissions are.

This does not resolve the issue. This is a noted limitation of Jira and is referenced in several change requests for the system.

Is it possible to use scriptrunner to restrict the users returned in the reporter field in a specific project, to a specific user group?
