I am very new to the Jira service desk system. We have got the requirement i.e., We have a custom field named Category and it has a 4 values. If customer select one category value 'x' and we need to send email notification to 'xyz' group and and same way if he selects 'y' vaue in category need to send mail notification to 'abc' group. The field has 4 values and need to send 4 different groups.
How can i achieve the requirement? if anyone knows guide us to reslove this case.

I would use Automation for Jira for this. Now as you are on cloud it is important to know that, as a result of Atlassian’s acquisition of the vendor of this addon, the software is being integrated into Jira natively and is due to be rolled out this quarter I think. As part of this process, that addon has been removed from the Marketplace so if you don’t have it already then you will need to wait or get a different addon to meet your goal, e.g. Scriptrunner, power scripts, etc.

But we don't know the process to handle this scenario.

We are also using automation but we have a doubt we added a if condition and then in send to option how can we send particular group members.
