How to trigger a webhook when a specific user comments?

I’d like to find a way to trigger a webhook only when a specific user creates a comment on a ticket. Preferably without automation rules.

Welcome.

You only option is an automation rule, there is also the webhooks option in System settings.

But then you run into the other issue is that you need a 3rd app like;

Jira has ootb no JQL function to find the user who commented and you need this as a trigger.

You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
