Hi,
I would like to learn if there is any way to triger the change of all tasks due dates when creating a project from template.
Hello @Anna Yehezkel
By creating a project by template do you mean the process that you go through in order to create a project (selecting business, or software development project) or are you doing this by using a third party app?
I mean that I have created a project with taksk and dates and dependency and I want to use this project as our template (this is for customer upgrade projects). Every time we have a new project for customer upgrade we would copy/create from this template a project and this way we safe time for our project managers to create manually a project with ~50 tasks.
Thanks

Understood, what you can do is when you are in the process of creating a new project to select the option "Import data into Jira" where you can choose between software and business projects. This will import all of the issues from your source project which is being used as a template.

No, for this you would need to use a third party application that will clone your issues into a new project.
Natively, Jira offers the bulk moving of the issues from one project to the another, which doesn't solve your problem here.
I would suggest using the app named Deep Clone.

Thank you.
@Nikola Perisic
Do you know if I am using deep clone, is it possible to trigger an update of due dates by one click? if I set a new due date of the first task and all the remaining tasks are being udated automatically?
is it possible, what preconditions do I need to create in Jira?

@Anna Yehezkel for that I wouldn't know, for it's main functionality of bulk cloning the issues is what I am certain of.
