I imported issues from a csv file. Can customers who have access to the help desk view those issues that are in progress?

Customers can see issues in the customer portal if the following conditions are met:
1. The issues are in a service management project to which the customer has access.
2. The issues have been assigned a Request Type that is visible on the portal.
3. The issue Reporter is the customer, or the customer is in the Request Participants field, or the Organization field is set to the customer's Organization and the project is configured to allow customers to see all issues in the Organization.
