Is there a way to create buttons in service requests?

In the service request, i want to be able to create buttons like

 

1. Log work

2. Acknowledge Ticket

3. Close ticket

 

i want to be able to make buttons front and centre for tickets.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Atlassian Cloud does not (yet) allow us to add things like that, but your "acknowledge" and "close" sound like they should be part of the workflow, and "log work" also sounds like your people could use the built-in "log work" functions to record the time they are spending.

I think we might need a bit more detail about what you are trying to do here, and why you think you might need extra buttons to duplicate all the options you already have.

Thanks Nic, fully aware of the workflows and where the log work, close ticket, etc.

But really what i am looking for is to be able to customise what appears front and centre of the service request.

I want the buttons here "yellow"

Hi Emmanuel - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

You won’t be able to create custom buttons like that. But these are steps in your workflow, and are available when you click on the status of the workflow on the issue.

It's a shame, because it seems like an easy feature to add, which in turn will create a much easier and better experience for the user.
