I'm looking for a way to have customers track their requests via an embedded widget or an iFrame or something similar that can be displayed in a webpage outside of Jira.

I did look at that and it seems that the only functionality there is for customers to raise issues with support. I was wondering if there was a way customers could get updates on their tickets from within the widget as well.
