we are upgrading to Jira Dev version: 9.4.14. but we have currently installed with Xray DC of the version of 7.2.2 -i9. after upgrading to Dev version 9.4.14, can we directly update to Xray DC version 7.2.2-i9 to 7.4.1-i9?
Is there any impact if we directly upgrade to Xray Dc version of 7.2.2-i9 t o 7.4.1-i9 in Jira Dev version:9.4.14
Hi @Siddharam Pujari ,
Absolutely, you're on the right track. You can directly upgrade Xray DC from version 7.2.2-i9 to 7.4.1-i9 after upgrading Jira to version 9.4.14. The good news is that the both i.e 7.2.2-i9 and 7.4.1-i9 Xray version is indeed compatible with Jira 9.4.14.
It's a best practice to verify compatibility and upgrade Xray to the compatible version accordingly.
Also, if you feel my input help you please accept the answer.

Hi @Siddharam Pujari ,
When upgrading from Xray version 7.2.2-i9 to 7.4.1-i9, it's essential to consider a few aspects:
Feature Enhancements: Review the release notes or changelogs between these versions. Check for any new features, improvements, or changes that might affect your current workflows or configurations.
Compatibility: Ensure that any integrations, customizations, or other plugins used alongside Xray are compatible with the new version (7.4.1-i9).
Testing Environment: Before the actual upgrade, simulate the upgrade in a testing environment if possible. This allows you to validate the upgrade process and identify any potential issues before applying it to the live environment.
Backup and Rollback Plan: Always back up your current system before performing any upgrades. Have a contingency plan or a rollback strategy in place in case the upgrade encounters unexpected issues.
