We have a client that needs his customers to be able to select the value from a select list custom field and, if this value does not exist, to directly add it to the list's options.

Is it possible to do with an addon?

If yes, with what addon?

Hi @Alvaro Riera Elena ,

There is no custom field that allows you to achieve it. Also, no addon. What you can do is create a text field and add it to the form where your customers can type value when no suitable value exists in the select list.

I know that it's not the best solution - the number of custom fields in your Jira instance can grow very quickly which is not the best practice. But currently, there is no alternative :(
