Isolate Service Mgt Customers from a project

Jaap van Driel October 6, 2021

Suppose we have 2 projects : Project_A & Project_B

We would like to have customers that have been added by Service Mgt Team to be able to see Project_A and customers that have been added by sending email so report a ticket in Project_B only have access to Project_B

Is this setup possible and if yes, how can get this setup?

Hi @Jaap van Driel

Customers by default do not have access to any project, just the portal.

Customers who belong to project A, will only be see that service desk. Whereas customers who belong to project b, will only be able to see the service desk of project b. Customers of both projects will have access to your portal.

Hi @Alex Koxaras -Relational- maybe I did not express myself correctly. If I click on Reporter in a ticket in project_B, I get a list of customers that belong to project_a. Probably also to project_b, but project_b is brand new. I would like to not see those customers here (and v.v.).

Oook! Now I get it. It wasn't clear and/or I didn't read it well. Non the less, the bad news is that this can't happen. The good thing is that there are two open tickets within atlassian, which you can vote and watch:
