Hi,
I would like to know if there are any temporary things I can do to my Customer Portal that might cause some initial panic in my office. E.G. throw an error or make the portal not work.
Obviously I'll come clean and restore it back, but I was wondering if any of you have any ideas.
My team have spent the past three weeks toiling over a lot of documentation that is visible on the customer portal, so its temporary loss would be the perfect April Fools hoax.
Of course I have run this past my boss who thinks this is a wonderful idea!
Please let me know ASAP if you have something.
Mike
@Mike Bowen Funny you ask Mike :) Given all the panic that is going on already, hopefully whatever you are going to do is not gonna make anyone Dizzy lol
on that note: May be you can display an announcement on the portal, like
"The current crisis is resolved and you should already be in the office or something". But how you are going to come clean on that is up to you :)
at least by wishing for something like that, hopefully it will come true as soon!!
Yes, could do something like that @RamR but it's April's fools and there is bound to be one somewhere regardless of all the doom and gloom about.
Our teams have really taken to working from home and coming up with nifty ideas, challenges and things to keep everyone busy. We have a lot of jokers about, so I am sure someone will be fooled tomorrow. I did switch one of my service desk portals to an error page, so will see if I get a reaction.
