1. Check in permission helper, with your name (in user) and issue key in issue, and "Transition Issue" in permission.
This might given all possible reasons.
2. Then check workflow related to that issue type, (particularly the transition, from which status to which status you are moving to). Their might be any condition, validator, implemented on that, and you might not be holding that permissions.

There could be a lot of reasons of why a ticket can't change a status. But we need more context about that are you trying to do, what steps do you take and what are the results you are presented.

Hi Sravan, Alex, There is no screen shot as there are no errors. AMIT SATI from Jira Support has acknowledged that there is some issue in response to PCS-342086.
Essentially any forward movement of status is not working. I can reverse a few tickets to their previous state but cannot move them forward again. Also the plug in for Tempo was not responding.
