Jira Indexing

Hi

I did a full indexing of Jira(Background re-index), but unfortunately could not complete it successfully.

Specifically in which log file should I find the error

Hi Keti,

It's not recommended to upload raw log files as they can contain sensitive information.

I suggest you look at the atlassian-jira.log file while the index is running and see what the errors are when it stops (though a 15 hour index is a LONG index - if you're on DC and have multiple nodes, it should be much quicker to do a foreground/locking index

Based on it pausing on portalpage - https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/full-reindex-failing-at-100-with-1-error-in-jira-1047548462.html is similar and might be related. Are you running Jira Core 7.x and 8.x up to 8.9.0 ?

There was an error changing the status on the patch or any other action on the patch and so I ran the indexing
