Jira SD Automation with several "When"conditions

Deleted user March 4, 2019

Hey guys!

i want to create a jira sd automation with 4-5 "when this happens..." conditions.

Actually there is no "add another" button or anything.

But i saw in another project and on screenshots that it is actually possible.

could you provide some help?

best regards,

Konstantinos Kiotes

Hey Konstantinos,

I don't think it was possible using standard JSD tools. Maybe you saw an example of an add-on?

Using automation rules you can have multiple "if these match" conditions though.

I am not quite sure what kind of scenario you are having to have multiple "when" conditions. I am assuming you could achieve that by simply adding several extra automation rules?

Maybe you could let us know your case and I could see if there are any alternatives?

Vasily

Hey!

Thank you for your quick reply!

I am creating an OpsGenie Integration and the documentation mentions that i need to have many When conditions. So anything that happens in OpsGenie has an affect on the JIRA SD Issue.

I will try more rules to work around that.

Konstantinos,

Yep, several different rules should address this.
If you are referring to this one:
https://docs.opsgenie.com/docs/jiraservicedesk-integration

Then I agree - it looks confusing a bit.
I will try to reach out to the right team to have these docs updated.

But keep us posted and let us know how it goes!

Vasily
