Hello, due to cost savings we have converted all of our Software Projects to JSM and are considering eliminating Jira Software License and thus loosing the ability to use Kanban boards for our JSM Projects.
Is there a good Kanaban add on (plugin) that others found that can be used without Jira Software?
We have less than 20 users actually utilizing Kanban Boards, so to pay for 500 license which is the minimum for Jira Software on DC is rough, but we are already trying to replace Kanban Boards with Dashboards, but (definitely) not the same.
Thank you.
Mike
Take a look on our Great Gadgets plugin.
It offers a WIP Aging Chart gadget that shows the issues from a filter/JQL in their current status, by their age (time in that column). It looks like a board... in some extent.
The app offers also a Team Wallboard gadget, but it currently works only with an agile board an input. We could eventually extend it to support a filter or JQL. If you think that this app would be helpful for you, please contact support@stonikbyte.com.

I hope this helps.

Hi @Carla Ann Rowland , I would love to learn how I can use Confluence to do that.
We already use Confluence to display simple filter outputs from Jira, but there is no way to simulate the swim lanes and quick filters that Kanban board has, which is very useful for us in our meetings. So if there is a way to do so in Confluence, I am very much interested in knowing how.

What I did for a team is as I said made a Pseudo-kanban board using tables in confluence and filters. Takes a little bit of time to set up but in a pinch it works. The issues are updated in jira and as they change status the filter picks it up. I use the confluence jira filter macro to have more control over the displayed field content.
The changes need to still happen in Jira but the data can be displayed in confluence
All I did is make a table and each square had appropriate filter. e.g.

Hi Michael,
You can check this addon Jira Boards -> "Bring kanban board to Jira Core and Jira Service Desk projects, Advanced Boards for Jira Software projects".
