Dear Community,
I have a question regarding the languages in the Service Desk. 10 employees from a company as our customers are working with the service desk to send us tickets. Some of them are English speaking, some of them are German speaking. Is it possible that the English-speaking people using the Service Desk see everything in English?
Best regards
Stefan
Hello Stefan,
yes. From the start the portal will be displayed in the language that the user has his account configured in. I am a German native myself, but because of Indian colleagues, my Atlassian Account is set to English, so I can always see the field names, that they see.
Kind regards
Richard

Hi @Stefan Speck I'm no expert on setting this up, but based on this knowledge article what-is-language-support? you should be able to setup your system for both languages under Project Settings and then you should be able to use both.
I hope that helps.

Hello @Stefan Speck
Jira supports many languages, which may be found here: https://support.atlassian.com/atlassian-account/docs/manage-your-language-preferences/
In order to change this:
This is changed generally for all of the products from the Jira family including: Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Jira Work Management, Jira Product Discovery
