×Hello! I created a form, linked the fields to Jira and I know that they are there - I currently have automation running off of their values conditionally and successfully. But they do not show up as Jira Fields on the right hand side with the rest of the fields. No matter what I do I can't get them to show; does anyone know why this is?
Hi @Brandon Schwartz , welcome to the Atlassian Community and thanks for your question.
Have you checked the screen configuration? Are the fields you want to see on the view screen?
Best wishes
Hi Valerie,
Thanks for your response - I should have clarified, I'm using Jira cloud, so I've found many articles while I've found many articles talking about Screens, those are nowhere to be found in my settings.
To add more information - on the Request itself, there are fields added, and those are visible. However due to the nature of Forms, any Linked Jira Field in the form cannot also be present on the request. This is fine, they can't duplicate data, I get that.
But I should be able to see and edit them as Jira fields if they are *linked* to Jira fields. So I have at least three custom fields in the form that you don't see here, for example: "Purchase reason". Not present under details, no matter what I do.
I know it exists, and I know it's populated - because as I mentioned, my automation runs off of it quite successfully. But I'm not allowed to look at it :-P

Welcome to the community.
My suspicion is that you are using a team managed project template in JSM and forms.
I see that when using forms on a team managed project, you can select all custom fields, also the custom fields that are not from the team managed project.
Team managed project are containers and can only use the fields in that project and the fields created in that project.
If I'm correct, you need to switch using a company managed project
