Looking for a way to send reminder email to reporters that a response is needed

Is there a way with project automation to send a reporter an email to remind them that a response is needed on their ticket

@nilo soto You can create an SLA that can be used to then trigger a reminder.  This is what is used most commonly.  When the issue is in a certain status the SLA begins.  If there is no response from the reporter then the SLA will breach and a reminder email is sent via automation.  This post also has other methods from using a custom field to using an app from the marketplace.  https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Service-Management/How-to-create-a-Jira-Service-Desk-ticket-reminder/qaq-p/1169309
