We have currently two portals . One for Team A and another one for Team B.
We noticed that Team A customers are sending requests through portal B, which is causing delays in responding to them.
Is there a way to restrict access for Team A customers so they cannot create requests in the wrong portal? Or can we make the other one invisible for them?
Hi Lianne,
You should be able to restrict that at the project level. In project A you could navigate to project settings > Customer Permissions and edit your channel access to Restricted so that only people directly invited to the project can submit requests. This will cover all channels including portal/email/widget. Make sure you add your project A customers to the project so they can submit requests, and be sure no customers from project B are in project A. You'll need to do the same but inverse for project B where you restrict it, add your project B users and make sure none of the Project A users are in project B. You'll also want to navigate to your customer access settings via the gear icon top right corner and then products. Navigate to Customer Access under Jira Service Management in the left column of that page. You will want to make sure the box next to "Customers can access and send requests from the portal without logging in" is NOT checked.
