Properly format queue date/time to absolute vs. calculated

Chris Shaffer

When using the pre-created custom field of "Change start date" (as in a change control begin date & time) the value of the field from a given issue displays in the queue as a calculated time.

I would prefer it displayed as, for example "5/15/2020 6pm" instead of "in 2 hours", which is relatively useless.

All of my date formats, under Look & Feel and Advanced Settings are configured correctly and appear correctly in other places.

Please do not refer to me to a plugin to fix what seems to be a bug or missing feature.

Disable relatives dates it’s only available for Server and Datacenter version. Open a request to atlassian support asking if they could do it

That's just silly.

The span tag above the relative date (what you see when you hover your cursor) already has the value in it.

It's actually more programming work to have the calculated date display.

No, I'll accept it's yet another non-feature we didn't ask for that is needlessly abstracted away from the user control.
