How can I find value and call it in workflow. I have to find reporters manager

OOTB organizational structure is not supported. I would suggest looking at the Marketplace for options to build this structure leveraging LDAP. If your org is very small you could manage this within JIra using Cascading field but that would quickly become unwieldy for an org of any size or one that frequently changes reporting.

thanks Jack, there are 2 scenarios

1.  if we manage to add one custom field in USER and then use
   1. then how one can access cutomfield in workflows
2. 2nd scenarios says to use LDPA/AD INTEGRATION, that's fine but do we have some way we may have this done using some public free LDAP Servers? do you any of them
