Hi!
We have different types of cards (e.g. parking cards) that can be reserved. We would like to map a reservation system in Jira Service Management. It should be possible to see which time periods can still be reserved in the future and which cannot. Ideally via a calendar function or via automation in the issue, for example. I would actually prefer to use the assets for this.
Do you have any cool ideas or have you already mapped something similar?
Hi @Kaja Iske
Since 2025, there is an App for booking parking cards with Jira and JSM, and it was part of the Codegeist 2024 winners. It's called Apwide Booking, and I'm the product manager.
The app is new, please feel free to reach out if you want to share feedback or need assistance!
Have a nice day,
David
Hi @Kaja Iske

@Marc - Devoteam , Thanks for your response! Yes, that would be a solution but the documentation links didn't work :-(. Unfortunately, I won't be able to do this without documentation. I have already posted a question under the article and hope it will be answered.

Hi @Kaja Iske
A little searching on the Go Live page, gets you this: https://golive.apwide.com/doc/latest/cloud/create-a-booking-on-a-specific-environment
Or contact them for more information.

Hi @Marc - Devoteam
Thanks for your help.
Hi @Kaja Iske
That's because we have archived the documentation pages explaining how the Jira Automation can be configured, because it's not anymore supported, as we have added that feature in our new scheduling system.
Please send me a message on LinkedIn and I'll export the documentation pages in PDF and send them to you.
Have a nice day,
David
