Dear all,
We are currently testing migration from server installation to cloud installation.
In one of our Jira project, we are using SIL scripts as transition validators to ensure that the transition can be performed only is some fields have been filled.
During our migration process, we have created again our SIL script in our cloud test instance.
Going to the validators configuration part for transition, we have not found a way to add a SIL script as validator.
Is that capability no more present on a Cloud instance (if so, how can we replace our SIL scripts) or what sohuld we do to access this capability.
Thanks for your reply
Hello @Addactis Support&Operations ,
Yes, that`s true, in Power Scripts for Cloud you cannot use SIL script as Validator/Condition. Jira Expressions should be used instead. Please refer to this page to get more information about the differences between Power Scripts DC/Server and Cloud: Power Scripts Cloud Functionality vs Server
Also adding some documentation about how to write conditions/validators for cloud using Power Scripts and Jira Expression Conditions and Validators Cloud
For more information on evaluating Jira Expressions, see the following links
The Jira Cloud platform REST API
Hope it helps!
Anna

Glad to help:)
Also, I forgot to mention that for your particular example," validator to ensure that the transition can be performed only if some fields have been filled", you can also use templates that we have both for conditions and validators. For example:
