I need the SLAs to be visible from the customer portal

Unfortunately, JIRA Service Management (Cloud) doesn't (yet) have the capability to display SLAs on the customer portal at the moment. However, there is a open feature request that you can keep an eye on and vote for here: [JSDCLOUD-325] Allow SLA to be viewed from Customer Portal
In the meantime, there are 3rd party apps available on the Atlassian Marketplace, such as Extension for Jira Service Management or Advanced Portal Reports for Jira Service Management, that can extend the capabilities of JIRA Service Management and help you achieve this functionality.
