Simplifying JSM Approval flows

Hello,

For our Procurement project workflow, we have 3 levels of approvals before the request reaches to procurement team as below:

Level 1 - Category Manager Approval

Level 2 -Head of Department Approval

Level 3 -Head of Finance Approval.

All these are single user picker custom field where the requestors will select the approvers themselves.

In some cases Category Manager & head of department are same, so same person needs to approve the request twice.

Is there any way to automatically approve the Head of Department if same person is selected in Level 1 & Level 2?

Hi Vignesh,

You can try:

1. When: Issue transitioned from: Category Manager Approval -> Head of Department Approval

2.If: machtes Manager Approval equals Department Approval ( here you need to use the Custom fields where the users are set)

3. Then: Approve/Decline request
