I need to edit the customer approver notification but the smart value does not work.
what is smart value for the custom field and other.

A workaround is to turn off the customer notifications and replace them with automation "Send email" in which you can use customfields but its not as nice looking...

As Lisa rightly mentioned, a suggested workaround would be to use automations to create the approval template that you are seeking and the following resource might be beneficial in accomplishing this:
One of the drivers of using this approach is that you can include custom fields in email body along with HTML code to produce the Approve and Decline buttons.
