I want to create a knowledge base (sitting in Confluence) linked to a Jira Service Desk so that the 300 Jira users in the organisation can see it but only 10 can create and add articles. Do I have to pay for 300 Confluence licences or only 10?
Thanks Marc
Hi Marc,
only need to license the 10. However, only the 10 can access w/in the application itself. The 300 are Customers and access via the Portal.
@jack Can you confirm which pricing model this applies to? https://www.atlassian.com/software/confluence/pricing
It looks like the "Anonymous access" feature is required to allow non-licensed members of the org. to view articles, which is available on the Standard plan.
Our use case: We want Confluence articles to be suggested through the SD portal, however <10 users will actually edit/admin Confluence Space.
