Hello Team,

I created a new user for Vendor team and provided them access to only one project on my Jira board.

Steps I followed:

- Created a new user and a New Group.

- Assigned the user to the newly created group.

- Created a new project for vendor team.

- Assigned the permission schemes to browse, user can log in and log out.

However when that user logs in he is able to see those additional projects as well for which I have not provided him the permissions. Please suggest how should we proceed.

Thank you,

Nitin

In addition to Avinash’s sound recommendation check to ensure the user isn’t being placed in a more general group, e.g. JIra-users or similar, that has permissions on other groups.

Hi @Nitin Bhatia ,

Welcome to Atlassian Community !

Please check whether other projects browse permissions is set to Application access (Any logged in user) and that permission may allow user to see additional projects.
